What To Expect

INITIAL CHIROPRACTIC APPOINTMENT

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST VISIT

During your initial visit at Vitalife Chiropractic, we will take a detailed and comprehensive view into the overall function of your nervous system.  We take lot of pride in this thorough evaluation process, because it allows us to obtain a great understanding of the current condition of your spine and the function of your nervous system.

The truth is that your nervous system (made up of your brain and spinal cord) controls and coordinates every single function in your body, all the way down to the workings of the tiniest cells.  When pressure or interference exists within the nervous system, it results in miscommunications between the brain and the body.

Most people can relate to this dysfunction as pain, but it can also cause dysfunction in other bodily systems as detailed below.

The sensory portion of your nervous system (the red circle below, which transmits pain signals) only makes up a relatively small portion of your more than 78 trillion nerve fibers

Simple Pain Free Scans Will Show Us How WE Can Get You Feeling Better Fast

Our infrared thermal assessment measures thermal regulation and highlights areas of poor autonomic nerve regulation.

Our neuroCORE (sEMG) analysis measures the tone along the muscles of the spine and gives us a very quick analysis of the function of the neuromuscular system.

The Process Is Simple & Easy

  1. New Member Application

Your chiropractic appointment will start with the new member application processing. All of our new practice members at Vitalife Chiropractic are asked to fill out our new member application form as completely as possible. This allows us to understand a little bit about your past, including injuries or traumas that may have led to your current health conditions.

  2. Office Tour

We will take you on a brief tour of our office so that you feel at home and have a better understanding of neurologically based chiropractic care.

  3. Personal Consultation

Our team will have a one-on-one consultation to get to know you personally and understand your health history better. We will discuss your current issues, past health concerns, health goals, and how we can best serve you to reach those goals. We will also provide information on our neurologically based philosophy and approach to your health concerns.

  4. Neurological Assessments

Our team will perform neurological assessments, including complete nerve and muscle assessments, using advanced technology and methods utilized by N.A.S.A. and certified by the Space Foundation. This allows us to locate the cause of your health concerns objectively.

  5. Digital Postural Imaging

Depending on the neurological assessment results, we will take all necessary chiropractic postural X-rays. This will allow us to see the underlying structure of your spine, giving us the necessary information to provide you with the safest and most specific adjustments possible for your particular case.

  6. Report Findings and Recommendations

After thoroughly analyzing all the available information, a customized health plan will be created for your specific needs. During your next visit, we will present you with a detailed analysis of our findings, including your assessments and digital X-rays. We’ll then present your customized health plan, including our convenient payment options.

  7. Start Feeling Like Yourself Again

Healing is half our part and half yours. To see improvements in your health, you will need to be committed to making it to your appointments. Everyone responds to care differently. Some begin to feel better and see improvement immediately, while others may take more time. Some may initially experience some discomfort and stiffness, known as healing sensations, which is completely normal as we restore the structure of your body and your nervous system.
